Sondrel CEO Meets with Semiconductor Leaders at GSA Summit in Shanghai

Sondrel CEO Graham Curren will be in China this week to attend the GSA Leadership Summit in Shanghai on 10th May. This flagship event, held every two years, brings together industry executives from across the globe to meet and discuss the issues shaping the semiconductor sector now and into the future.

The central discussion points will be concerning the efforts to grow the semiconductor industry within China. Currently, 90% of China’s semiconductor consumption relies on imported ICs. Panel discussions will look at the internal investment needed, the growing technology sector in China, and the advances in Cloud Technology needed to support future consumers’ needs.

Sondrel has been established in China for over six years, and as a leading EU/China technology company, continues to grow its operations in the APAC region. The engineering team based in China has continued to build and strengthen its capabilities, working within international design teams on leading edge technology projects. The CEO will be taking the opportunity during his trip to spend time at the Sondrel Shanghai office. He will welcome new employees who have recently joined the company, and those who are based in Xi’an, where the company last year invested significantly in a new state-of-the-art design centre. This larger office has given Sondrel the opportunity to expand its engineering capabilities, in particular its verification team, to support customer projects across the globe at this excellent engineering facility.

You can find more information on the attendees and the panel discussion topics on the GSA Global Leadership Summit event website.
