Sondrel to present a paper at the Magma User Group (MUSIC) in Shanghai and Silicon Valley

Sondrel will present a paper on low power solutions for SOC design at the Magma User’s conference (MUSIC) held at various locations in April 2009. The title of the paper is: “Implementation of an ARM1176JZS with distributed MTCMOS using Talus Vortex”.
Sondrel’s highly skilled and experienced engineers have valuable knowledge of using Magma’s Talus Vortex solutions to assist with Yield management and Low Power design. The paper focuses on the subject of implementing the power gated domains of an ARM1176JZ-S core in a TSMC 65nm LP process using MTCMOS power switches and special low-power cells available in the ARM PMK libraries. This implementation case study will demonstrate how Sondrel can provide its customers with advanced low-power techniques previously available only to semiconductor companies with large CAD teams.
